This tour is an advanturious tour. There will be more Hikes and Walks and almost everyday there will be short walk. In Paro there
will be hike to Taktshang Monastery
which is the iconic monument of Bhutan. And in Thimphu will have hike to Tango and Cheri Monastery which is the first monastery established by Zhabdrung Ngawang
Namgyel in 17th Century. And in Punakha will hile to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyel Chorten, which over looks beautiful Kabesa village and the

Day 1: Paro Arrival, Drive to Thimphu
Pick up from Paro airport and If you reach early and if we have time on the same day you reached will visit century old
Dungtse lhakhang which one of old unique temple. Then drive up to visit Ta dzong (watch tower) built in 1951 to
use as a watch tower to defend Ringpung dzong and Paro valley during the time of war and converted into national museum in
1967 which recorded in UNESCO world heritage. Unfortunately original museum was destroyed by the earthquake in September 2011
but one can still see a magnificent collection of Bhutanese artifacts like costumes, religious Tahngka paintings, arm weapons,
and a fascinating collection of Bhutan stamps in new gallery. Then will visit Paro Ringpung dzong which is one of the
finest example of Bhutanese architecture. If still feel energetic you can take a short walk down to the cantilever bridge.In
the evening will drive to Thimphu and on the way will stop to pictures of magnificent 15 century temple called
Taachog lhakhang which was built by great iron builder Drupthop Thangthong Gyalpo.And take a short walk down to the
river to see a 15 century old iron chain bridge built by the same builder of temple. After you arrive at Thimphu you
can take a leisurely walk around the town to feel the atmosphere of capital.

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing(Hike to Cheri Monastery)
After breakfast will drive till Dodena, and then will hike to Cheri Monastery which was established in 1620 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel. It is the
first monastery establisehd by Zhanbdruung and he spent strict 3 years retreat and also rest of his life. The trail will take you trhough beautiful mixed forest of
pine, oak, rhododendrons and many others. Will reach back to Thimphu for lunch. After lunch will visit Bhutan post if you like to have personilised stamps.
Then will visit Takin reservation at Motithang followed by Zorig Chusum, where students are taught 13 arts and crafts of Bhutan. And will also visit Folk Heritage museum
In the evening will visit Trashichho dzong, the beautiful fortress which houses most of the Government's office and King's Throne room. It is also the summer residence of Je Khenpo, the Chief Abbot enroute will
visit Nunnery at Zilikha. Night halt in Thimphu [Hotel].
Day 3: Thimphu to Gangtey
After breakfast will drive to Phobjekha. On the way you will stop at Dochula (3150m)
and there you can see 108 Druk Wangyel Chorten. If you wish we can stop for tea and snacks as there is a cafe. You will then drive
down further through temperate forests into semitropical range of orange and cactuses. After crossing Wangdi will ascend to
Gangtey. On reaching Gangtey depeding on the time will do a short
Natural Trail that will take you trhough the beautiful pine forest and beautiful village. If it is in winter you will see
the Black Necked Crane one of the endangered bird species in world. Night halt in Gangtey [Hotel/Farm House/Lodge]
depeding on your choice.
Day 4: Gangety to Punakha
After breakfast will visit Gangtey Sangacholing Monastery which was built in 1613 by Gyalse Pema Thinley grandson of terton
Pema Lingpa. And here you will love the wooden work and is one of the best wood work in Bhutan. The wood carvings here are awsome.
Then will drive to Punakha. After reaching Punakha will visit
Punakha dzong built on the confluence of Phochu (Male River) and Mochu (Female River). Today it is the winter residence of
the Je- khenpho the chief abbot and also serves as the administration center of the Punakha district. After that will do a short
hike about 1 hours to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyel Chorten from where you will have a stunning view a Kabesa viallage and
the Mochu River, with all paddy fields in the back of rivers.

Day 5: Punakha to Paro
After breakfast will visit Sangchen Dorji Lhundrup Nunnery at Wolakha from where you will have a very good view of the villages around. Then will
will drive towards Wangduephodrang and on the way will visit Chimi Lhakhang which was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley in 15th
century (This monk is popularly known as the Devine madman for his philosophy, “Salvation through sex”). He subdued the demons
with his “Magical Thunder bolt”. The Temple is also known as “The Temple of Fertility”. And it is a short hike through the paddy fields.
After that will have lunch and then will continue to Paro. On reaching Thimphu depeding on the time will visit Simtokha Dzong which
is the oldest fortress in Bhutan. Then will continue to paro. Night halt in Paro [Hotel/Farm House] depeding on your choice.
Day 6: Hike Taktshang(Tigers Nest)
Today will have a day hike to the sacred Taktsang Goenpa (tiger nest monastery) which was built on the rock face at 900 meters above the valley
floor. The history says guru Rinphoche during his second visit to Bhutan in 8th century have flew to the place riding on a tigress to subdue demon
Singye Samdrup and meditated here for three months. Later temporary ruler of Bhutan GyalsheTenzin Rabgay has built monastery in 16 century. It
one of the most highlighted holy site of the tourist as well it is a place where Bhutanese people belive they must visit once in their life time.
Todays dinner will be at Farm house and if you are interested can also take a traditional Hot Stone Bath.

Day 7: Drive to airport and Departure
Depending on your flight departure time early in the morning your guide will take you to airport to see you off onto your flight and wish you good
journey and Tashidelek(goodbye/good luck).
